Natural gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel, but it still releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. In fact, the average Ohio Natural Gas customer contributes almost 5 tons of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere each year from their natural gas usage.

Carbon offsets are a way to reduce the impact of those gases. When you sign up for a Greener Life plan, Ohio Natural Gas will offset your usage by retiring carbon offsets so your gas usage will be 100% carbon neutral.
